CIGB gratefully receives support from churches, businesses, and individuals.

We are co-ordinated by a voluntary management committee that is made up of business and church representatives.

We receive support in many forms:  volunteer time, finance, prayer, and engagement.

We publish a regular newsletter with information about opportunities, issues and news of what we are doing. Sign up for our newsletter here.

Our Friends support us by discussing issues with us, meeting us and making a regular donation.

  • Invitations to Church events to hear about our work
  • Finance: over 60% of our income comes from local churches. See below for information on Donations

Workplaces support us by:

  • Sharing stories of how we have been of help.
  • Inviting us into your workplace, or using the resources to encourage ‘wholebeing’ at your workplace
  • Finance: 30% of our income is from donations by local businesses. See below for information on Donations.

Donations

We are very grateful for any financial donation that you can make. Most of our work is done by volunteers, but we pay for 2 staff (1 fte) to facilitate the work, office costs and volunteer training / expenses.
CIGB is a registered charity (No 511711).

You can make donations:

By online donation

Visit our CAF Donations page to give on-line as a one-off payment or to set up a regular donation. CAF can also reclaim Gift Aid on our behalf if your gift is eligible. PLEASE NOTE that payments will appear on your Statement as paid to CAF / Charities Aid Foundation.

By cheque

Donations can be made in the traditional way by writing a cheque payable to ‘CIGB’.  Please post cheques to  CIGB,  1 Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2BJ.  If you are able to, please consider completing a Gift Aid form (see below for downloadable form) and enclosing it with your donation.

By Electronic Transfer

If you would prefer to transfer a donation direct from your bank account into the account held by CIGB, our information is as follows:

Gift Aid your donation to CIGB

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift by completing a Gift Aid form.  Please download the form, complete it and return it to us by email to val.dalton@cigb.org.uk.  Alternatively, please print off a copy of the form, complete it and return it to:  CIGB, 1 Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2BJ with details of your donation.
