There are opportunities for voluntary chaplaincy both in
companies already receiving chaplaincy services and in new
projects.
Chaplains provide independent pastoral support to working
people and are concerned for the well being of the organisation
CIGB volunteer chaplains are lay and ordained people drawn
from all the church denominations.
The commitment can be a few hours a fortnight for regular
visiting or a few days a year covering a special event or
other patterns depending on the needs of the organisation.
Volunteers are trained and authorised through CIGB and
supported by their faith community.
For more information on becoming a voluntary chaplain contact
