16 – 18th March – Living Quaker values in the secular workplace

‘Let your life speak’, we are encouraged, meaning, let your highest truths and values guide everything you do. How do those of us who work in non-Quaker, secular settings live the integrity of all our values at work? How do we relate to the use of power amongst colleagues who don’t always value what we value? This weekend offers fellowship, support and inspiration for those at work or wish to be at work and who grapple with being faithful to our integrity in the workplace.

23 – 25th March -World in your Wallet

Every penny we earn or spend makes a statement about our values and beliefs. We will provide a framework to help you invest in exploring different ways of relating to your money, which could lead to changes in the way you, your meeting and/or other groups you are part of choose to use it. We will offer opportunities to work individually and also to explore spiritual, ethical and practical issues with the group. We will not give any financial advice.

 Commissioning Service

This service took place in November 2011 and so is perhaps ‘old news’,  but we thought you might be interested to hear what Linda Isiorho, Team Leader for the Fire Service chaplains,  said about how her lifelong involvement with Fire and Rescue Services led her into Fire Service chaplaincy.  It makes riveting reading.
